Safe recovery housing
Help create stable, substance-free homes where people can focus on recovery without the constant threat of displacement.
Recovery housing · Transitional living · Lasting change
Fierce Soul Foundation exists to help fund the safe housing, structure, and community people need as they rebuild their lives after opioid and substance use.
Built for partnership with funders, grantmakers, donors, and communities committed to making recovery sustainable.

For those who make recovery possible
Healing isn’t weakness. It’s the fiercest thing a soul can do.
The housing gap
A discharge date does not end the need for support. Too often, people leave treatment ready to work for a different life but return to unstable housing, isolation, or environments that put recovery at risk.
Fierce Soul Foundation brings resources together to support recovery housing and transitional living initiatives that offer safety, accountability, connection, and a realistic path toward independence.
What Fierce Soul funds
Flexible and project-specific support can move recovery housing from vision to stable, accountable operation.
Help create stable, substance-free homes where people can focus on recovery without the constant threat of displacement.
Reduce financial barriers so that a lack of resources does not become a barrier to a safe place to rebuild.
Build the staffing, systems, partnerships, and practical supports that turn a house into a pathway forward.
Support responsible measurement, continuous improvement, and clear reporting back to the people who invest in the mission.
Safe housing, clear expectations, daily structure, and room to breathe.
Recovery supports, work, education, health, and practical life skills.
Growing independence, stronger relationships, purpose, and a stable next chapter.
First residence & current stage
Initial service area
Fierce Soul is developing its first women’s transitional living residence as a recovery-centered home—not as a finished program pretending to be open. The property, referral network, operating model, and founding partnerships remain in active planning.

Funding & stewardship
Builds partnerships, stewards resources, supports quality, and reports on progress.
Program infrastructure
Turns investment into housing readiness, practical support, and accountable operation.
First residence in planning
The final property and operating structure will be disclosed before funding or lease commitments begin.
Resident readiness
A plan that leaves with the resident
The Recovery Action & Maintenance Plan is resident-directed and informed by established, self-directed wellness and recovery-planning principles. It combines personal recovery planning with practical transition readiness in one clear path.
Seven guided areas; the opening wellness toolkit is optional.
Nine practical areas for a safer, more prepared transition.
People, place & governance
Built close to the need
Fierce Soul is being shaped by Heather’s lived experience and Ryan Crosser’s program-building and operating-systems work. Formal officer and independent board roles will be published after the founding board approves them.
Lived experience, resident dignity, and practical recovery support.
Partnership development, program infrastructure, and accountable systems.
Formal roles, conflict review, and oversight will be documented before material related-party decisions.
Accountability & reporting
Transparency infrastructure
Fierce Soul is developing privacy-conscious reporting infrastructure that can connect funding to program activity and de-identified outcomes. Any technology relationship will be independently reviewed, transparently documented, and governed by appropriate conflict-of-interest procedures.
